3 European Union: sow stalls ban A question was asked by Lord Lexden and answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

4 Pakistan A question was asked by Baroness Falkner of Margravine and answered by Baroness Warsi.

5 Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Lord Strathclyde made a statement.

6 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that the debates on the motions in the names of Lord Stoneham of Droxford and Lord Storey set down for today shall each be limited to 2½ hours. The motion was agreed to.

7 Housing (2½-hour debate) Lord Stoneham of Droxford moved that this House takes note of Laying the Foundations: A Housing Strategy for England. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

8 Cities (2½-hour debate) Lord Storey moved that this House takes note of the case for developing the growth of the United Kingdom's major cities. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

9 European Union Internal Security Strategy (EUC Report) Lord Hannay of Chiswick moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on The EU Internal Security Strategy (17th Report, HL Paper 149). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
