1 Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee The Leader of the House (Lord Strathclyde) moved that a Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty to congratulate Her Majesty on the occasion of the Sixtieth Anniversary of Her Accession to the Throne. After debate, the motion was agreed to nemine dissentiente, and it was ordered that the said Address be presented to Her Majesty by the Whole House in Westminster Hall on Tuesday 20 March at eleven o'clock.

2 Freedom of Information Act 2000 A question was asked by Lord Wills and answered by Lord McNally.

3 Railways: level crossings A question was asked by Lord Faulkner of Worcester and answered by Earl Attlee.

4 Education: engineering A question was asked by Lord Trefgarne and answered by Lord Hill of Oareford.

5 Disabled people: employment A question was asked by Lord Touhig and answered by Lord De Mauley.

6 Water Industry (Financial Assistance) Bill A bill to make provision for the giving of financial assistance for the purpose of securing the reduction of charges for the supply of water and the provision of sewerage services and in connection with the construction of, and the carrying out of works in respect of, water and sewerage infrastructure, certified by the Speaker as a money bill, was brought from the Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 133)

7 Water Industry (Financial Assistance) Bill The Explanatory Notes on the bill were ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 133–EN)

8 House of Lords: car park Lord Barnett moved to resolve that the arrangements in respect of access to Peers’ Car Park be restored to those in force before 3 January 2012. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

9 Scotland Bill After debate, the bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 53. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed after clause 42 was agreed to.
