6 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that Standing Order 40(1) (Arrangement of the Order Paper) be dispensed with on Tuesday 1 May to enable the resumed debate on the motion in the name of Lord Richard to be taken as first business, and that no oral questions be taken on that day. The motion was agreed to.
7 Public Bodies (Abolition of Courts Boards) Order 2012 Lord Henley moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 31 January be approved. The motion was agreed to.
8 Trusts (Capital and Income) Bill [HL] Lord Henley moved that the bill be now read a second time. The motion was agreed to.
9 Draft House of Lords Reform Bill Lord Richard moved that this House takes note of the report from the Joint Committee on the draft House of Lords Reform Bill (HL Paper 284). After debate, the motion was adjourned.
