2 Civil service: training and development A question was asked by Baroness Tyler of Enfield and answered by Lord Wallace of Saltaire.
3 National Offender Management Service: indeterminate sentences A question was asked by Lord Ramsbotham and answered by Lord McNally.
4 Transport: road traffic A question was asked by Lord Sheldon and answered by Earl Attlee.
5 National Health Service: definition of exceptional case A question was asked by Baroness Masham of Ilton and answered by Earl Howe.
6 Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Marks of Henley-on-Thames be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Carlile of Berriew, resigned. The motion was agreed to.
7 Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Devolution of Policing and Justice Functions) Order 2012 Earl Attlee moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
8 Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2012 Lord McNally moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

13 Electoral Registration Data Schemes Order 2012 Lord Wallace of Saltaire moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 9 May be approved. The motion was agreed to.
14 Statutory Auditors (Amendment of Companies Act 2006 and Delegation of Functions etc.) Order 2012 Baroness Wilcox moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 15 May be approved. The motion was agreed to.
15 Crime and Courts Bill [HL] The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 135. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed.
16 European Council Lord Strathclyde repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons. Lord De Mauley moved that the House do now adjourn during pleasure for ten minutes. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
17 Financial Services Authority investigation into LIBOR Lord Sassoon repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
18 Crime and Courts Bill [HL] The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with the question that Schedule 13, as amended, be agreed to. The House resumed after amendment 148.

Civil Aviation Bill The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 17. Amendments were agreed to. The Committee adjourned after clause 79 was agreed to.
