4 Rookery South (Resource Recovery Facility) Order 2011 In accordance with Private Business Standing Order 108 (Adjournment of committee on opposed bill), the Joint Committee on the Rookery South (Resource Recovery Facility) Order 2011 reported that it had adjourned until Wednesday 11 July being the next date that the Committee can meet.

6 Vehicles: insurance A question was asked by Baroness Oppenheim-Barnes and answered by Earl Attlee.
7 Elephant poaching A question was asked by Lord St John of Bletso and answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.
8 Royal Bank of Scotland: LIBOR A question was asked by Lord Empey and answered by Lord Sassoon.
9 Finance Bill A bill to grant certain duties, to alter other duties, and to amend the law relating to the National Debt and the Public Revenue, and to make further provision in connection with finance was brought from the Commons and read a first time.
10 Broadcasting (Local Digital Television Programme Services and Independent Productions) (Amendment) Order 2012 Baroness Garden of Frognal moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 23 May be approved. The motion was agreed to.
11 Armed Forces Act (Continuation) Order 2012 Lord Astor of Hever moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 22 May be approved. The motion was agreed to.
12 European Union (Approval of Treaty Amendment Decision) Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time. After debate, the bill was passed and sent to the Commons.
13 Crime and Courts Bill [HL] The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 148A. An amendment was agreed to. The House resumed.
14 NHS Annual Report and care objectives Earl Howe repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
15 Global fund: AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria A question was asked by Lord Fowler and, after debate, answered by Baroness Northover.
16 Crime and Courts Bill [HL] The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 149D. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed after Schedule 15 was agreed to.

Grand Committee Business
The Grand Committee met in the Moses Room at 3.45pm.
Civil Aviation Bill The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 51. Amendments were agreed to. The Committee adjourned after clause 95 was agreed to.
