Private Business

1 Transport for London Bill [HL] The Chairman of Committees informed the House that, in accordance with Private Business Standing Order 150B (Revival of Bills), the bill had been deposited in the Office of the Clerk of the Parliaments together with the declaration of the agent. The bill was presented and read a first time. It was then deemed to have been read a second time and committed to a Select Committee.

Public Business

2 House of Lords (Cessation of Membership) Bill [HL] After debate, the order of commitment was discharged.

3 Middle East: recent developments Lord Howell of Guildford moved that this House takes note of recent developments in the Middle East. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
