3 Television: listed sporting events A question was asked by Lord Grocott and answered by Viscount Younger of Leckie.

4 Abortion A question was asked by Baroness Thornton and answered by Earl Howe.

5 Child development (Balloted debate) The Lord Bishop of Chester moved that this House takes note of child development in the United Kingdom and its bearing on national wellbeing. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

6 Constitutional settlement (Balloted debate) Lord Maclennan of Rogart moved that this House takes note of a potential break-up of the United Kingdom and of the case for considering an alternative constitutional settlement. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

7 Higher education (EUC Report) Baroness Young of Hornsey moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on The Modernisation of Higher Education in Europe (27th Report, Session 2010–12, HL Paper 275). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
