9 Caravan Sites Bill [HL] The order of commitment was discharged.
10 Middle East: Gaza and Syria Baroness Warsi repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
11 Financial Services Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 70. Amendments were agreed to. The report stage was adjourned after amendment 79AA.
12 Draft Care and Support Bill A message was brought from the Commons that they concur with the Lords that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of Lords and Commons be appointed to consider the draft Care and Support Bill presented to both Houses on 11 July 2012 (Cm 8386), and that they have ordered:
that a Select Committee of six Members be appointed to join with any Committee appointed by the Lords to consider the draft Bill;
that the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 7 March 2013; and
that the Committee shall have the power
(i) to send for persons, papers and records,
(ii) to sit notwithstanding any adjournment of the House,
(iii) to report from time to time,
(iv) to appoint specialist advisers, and
(v) to adjourn from place to place within the United Kingdom.
13 Civil Aviation Bill The bill was returned from the Commons with the Lords amendments agreed to.
