2 Social care: apprenticeships A question was asked by Baroness Wheeler and answered by Earl Howe.

3 Energy: nuclear power A question was asked by Lord Foulkes of Cumnock and answered by Baroness Verma.

4 Flooding: insurance A question was asked by Lord Greaves and answered by Lord De Mauley.

5 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that the debate on the motion in the name of Baroness Pitkeathley set down for today shall be limited to 3 hours and that in the name of Lord Harrison to 2 hours. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

6 Social care (3-hour debate) Baroness Pitkeathley moved that this House takes note of the impact of changes in local authority budgets on the provision of social care and its integration with other health, housing and care services. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

7 National Health Service: diabetic services (2-hour debate) Lord Harrison moved that this House takes note of the management of diabetic services in the National Health Service. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

8 The Leveson Inquiry Lord Strathclyde repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

9 The Leveson Inquiry Lord McNally repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

10 Violence against women A question was asked by Baroness Jenkin of Kennington and, after debate, answered by Baroness Stowell of Beeston.
