The following Reports from the Select Committee were made and ordered to be printed:

Public Business

3 Cycling: infrastructure A question was asked by Lord Berkeley and answered by Earl Attlee.

4 United States budget: economic impact A question was asked by Lord Roberts of Conwy and answered by Lord Newby.

5 Armed forces: medical services A question was asked by Lord Trefgarne and answered by Lord Astor of Hever.

6 Banking: regulation A question was asked by Lord Barnett and answered by Lord Newby.

7 Business of the House Lord Strathclyde moved that Standing Order 46 (No two stages of a Bill to be taken on one day) be dispensed with on Tuesday 11 December to enable the Police (Complaints and Conduct) Bill to be taken through its remaining stages on that day; and that Standing Order 46 be dispensed with on Tuesday 18 December to enable the Small Charitable Donations Bill to be taken through its remaining stages on that day. The motion was agreed to.

8 Partnerships (Prosecution) (Scotland) Bill [HL] Lord Wallace of Tankerness moved that the bill be now read a second time. The motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Special Public Bill Committee.

9 Crime and Courts Bill [HL] The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 113. An amendment was agreed to. Amendment 113C was agreed to (see division 1). Amendment 113G was disagreed to (see division 2). The report stage was adjourned.

10 Winterbourne View Final Report Earl Howe repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

11 Energy: efficiency A question was asked by Lord Teverson and, after debate, answered by Baroness Verma.

12 Crime and Courts Bill [HL] The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 113GD. Amendments were agreed to. The report stage was adjourned after amendment 116D.

The House adjourned at 10.49pm until Tuesday 11 December at 2.30pm.

Grand Committee Business

The Grand Committee met in the Moses Room at 3.30pm.

Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 20L. The Committee adjourned after clause 19 was agreed to.
