Public Business

1 Business of the House Baroness Anelay of St Johns, on behalf of Lord Strathclyde, moved that Standing Order 40 (Arrangement of the order paper) be dispensed with on Monday 17 December to allow the motion that this House takes note of recent developments in the European Union standing in the name of Baroness Warsi to be taken before the second reading of the European Union (Croatian Accession and Irish Protocol) Bill. The motion was agreed to.

2 Older people: their place and contribution in society The Lord Archbishop of Canterbury moved that this House takes note of the place and contribution of older people in society. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
