4 Local government: finance settlement A question was asked by the Lord Bishop of Liverpool and answered by Baroness Hanham.

5 Heathrow Airport A question was asked by Baroness Browning, on behalf of Lord Forsyth of Drumlean, and answered by Earl Attlee.

6 Business of the House Lord Hill of Oareford moved that Standing Order 48 (Amendments on Third Reading) be dispensed with today in respect of the Third Reading of the Electoral Registration and Administration Bill. The motion was agreed to.

7 Electoral Registration and Administration Bill The report was received. Amendment 3 was disagreed to (see division). Amendments were agreed to. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 79)

8 Kashmir A question was asked by Lord Ahmed and, after debate, answered by Baroness Warsi.

9 Electoral Registration and Administration Bill Standing Order 46 having been dispensed with, the bill was read a third time. Amendments were agreed to. Then the bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments.
