1 Education: English Baccalaureate Certificate A question was asked by Baroness Jones of Whitchurch and answered by Lord Nash.

2 Welfare: Personal Independence Payment A question was asked by Lord Alton of Liverpool and answered by Lord Freud.

3 Asylum seekers: support A question was asked by the Lord Bishop of Ripon and Leeds and answered by Lord Taylor of Holbeach.

4 Egypt: elections A question was asked by Baroness Royall of Blaisdon and answered by Baroness Warsi.

5 Business of the House Baroness Anelay of St Johns, on behalf of Lord Hill of Oareford, moved that the debates on the motions in the names of Lord Mawson and Lord Ramsbotham set down for today shall each be limited to 2½ hours. The motion was agreed to.

6 Olympic Games 2012: legacy (2½-hour debate) Lord Mawson moved that this House takes note of the role of communities, the arts and creative industries in delivering a lasting legacy to the Olympics, and of the lessons that can be learnt more broadly. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

7 Nuclear disarmament (2½-hour debate) Lord Ramsbotham moved that this House takes note of the prospects for multilateral nuclear disarmament, and the contribution which Britain could make. After debate, the motion was agreed to.

8 European Banking Union (EUC Report) Lord Harrison moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on the European Banking Union: Key issues and challenges (7th Report, HL Paper 88). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

9 Green Deal Framework (Disclosure, Acknowledgment, Redress etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 Baroness Verma moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 10 December 2012 be approved. The motion was agreed to.
