5 National Health Service (Amended Duties and Powers) Bill [HL] Lord Owen presented a bill to re-establish the Secretary of State’s legal duty as to the National Health Service in England, Quangos and related bodies. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 80)

7 Growth and Infrastructure Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 51A. The House resumed after clause 5 was agreed to.

8 Railways: High Speed 2 Earl Attlee repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

9 Growth and Infrastructure Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 55ZA. Amendments were considered. The House resumed.

10 Air Passenger Duty A question was asked by Lord Palmer and, after debate, answered by Lord Newby.
