3 Nuclear research and development A question was asked by Viscount Hanworth and answered by Baroness Verma.

4 European Union: legislation opt outs A question was asked by Lord Dykes and answered by Baroness Warsi.

5 Public Bodies (Abolition of the Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board) Order 2013 Baroness Stowell of Beeston moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 15 October 2012 be approved. The motion was agreed to.

6 Legislative Reform (Hallmarking) Order 2013 Viscount Younger of Leckie moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 26 November 2012 be approved. The motion was agreed to.

7 Mental Health (Discrimination) (No. 2) Bill The order of commitment was discharged.

8 Growth and Infrastructure Bill The bill was further considered in Committee. An amendment was agreed to.

9 Banking reform Lord Newby repeated as a ministerial statement the answer given to an Urgent Question in the House of Commons.

10 Growth and Infrastructure Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 75ZAB. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed.

11 Education: academies and free schools A question was asked by Baroness Perry of Southwark and, after debate, answered by Lord Nash.

12 Growth and Infrastructure Bill The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 77C. Amendments were considered. The House resumed after clause 26 was agreed to.

Criminal policy procedure (EUC Report) Lord Bowness moved that the Grand Committee takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on The European Union’s Policy on Criminal Procedure (30th Report, Session 2010–12, HL Paper 288). After debate, the motion was agreed to.

Science and heritage (S&T Committee Report) Baroness Sharp of Guildford moved that the Grand Committee takes note of the Report of the Science and Technology Committee on Science and Heritage: a follow-up (5th Report, Session 2010–12, HL Paper 291). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
